Steam coal can be seen in generating electricity, locomotive and boiler combustion. It is mainly used in power making; about one third of the whole coal is used to make power. Secondly for steam locomotive. This accounts for 2%. Thirdly for building materials. For example, in concrete, glass, brick and tile(10%). Fourthly it is used as fuel in industrial boilers.
